A Male in Tow!

The Meadow Brown is one of Denmark's most common butterflies, and you will often find them mating among the grasses. If you accidentally disturb a mating pair, the female flies off carrying the attached male, but only for a few metres! Take a look in the long grass and there's a good chance you'll spot a Meadow Brown.
